My Thoughts: A book full of romance, comedy, suspense and mystery. How much better can it get? This remarkable debut by Aprilynne pike is funny and intruiging. The storyline is beautiful and original, and I love some of the ideas she added to the book to make it even more unique, such as blossoms growing out of "people".

 

The characters are so interesting and you feel drawn to them. Tamani is definitely my favourite character. He is cheeky, funny, broody and just fascinating. Laurel is not someone that is completely relatable to, which makes her a bit hard to understand sometimes, but other than that, I think she is an excellent main character. 

 

The plot is interesting, becasue I have never read a book quite like this. With trolls, faeries, and ordinary humans, the story is captivating. The twists throughout the book aren't as predictable as in most books, and some aren't predictable at all, which is a positive.

 

This book is interesting and unique. If your looking for a fantasy book full of romance and mystery, then this is the book for you. With the unpredictable twists and intense characters, this book is definitely a good book to read.
