My Waiting on Wednesday this week is Shadow Study by Maria V. Snyder, the next book in the Poison Study series.

Why Can't I Wait?

When Maria V. Snyder announced that she was writing another book about the characters from the Study Series I was grinning like a Cheshire cat! Poison Study, Magic Study and Fire Study are some of my favourite books of all time. I have also read the Healer, Insiders and Glass series by Maria and absolutely loved them! However, the Study series has always remained my favourite. I cannot wait for Yelena and Valek's journey to continue in Shadow Study when it comes out around February 24th, 2015.

My Waiting on Wednesday this week is Fuse by Julianna Baggott which is the second book in the Pure series.

Why Can't I Wait?

Pure by Julianna Baggott was an amazing book! It was a little bit creepy at times, but the plot and the world which the author created was just so different from anything I have ever read that I was hooked by the first chapter! I can't wait to read the next book in the series! Fuse comes out on February 14, 2013.

I LOVE all of Richelle Mead's young adult books. The ending of The Golden Lily which is the second book in the Bloodlines series left me dying with questions which hadn't been answered. I can't wait for The Indigo Spell to come out!!

I absolutely loved The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer which is the first book in the series. There were a lot of intense scenes and there was something new happening all the time. The book was just so gripping, so of course I can't wait to get my hands on this book!

Why can't I wait?

I know that Waiting on Wednesday is supposed to be generally about books which are yet to be published which we are dying in anticipation to read but today I just couldn't follow that rule. I am so close to finishing the first book in the series A Game of Thrones, which has also been turned into a popular TV show by HBO, and am in love with the story already. The attention to detail, characters and the plot line is amazing! I cannot wait to read A Clash of Kings!

I know that this book has already been out for quite a long time and that all of the hype surrounding it has died down. But, I still haven't read it, and it has been on my TBR list for a long time for many reasons: the book sounds amazing, the reviews have been positive, the title is mysterious and the cover is GORGEOUS! Need I say more?

Waiting on Wednesday 11: The Selection by Kiera Cass

I have heard great things about this book by reading reviews by bloggers who have an ARC of this book. I have to admit that the cover was the first thing that pulled me in. It is absolutely gorgeous! The blurb has also intrigued me to read this book, it sounds so unique and a bit like the Hunger Games (the choosing and selection without the people getting a say). Come faster, April 24th. I'm just glad it comes out this year instead of next year!

Why I Can't Wait?

I just finished reading Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. It was an enjoyable book but I was a bit disappointed. Sydney was so blind for most of it and appeared really weak as a main character because she was so frustrating. But then the cliffhanger at the end was like, ohmigosh this will be intense. Adrian in Bloodlines was really good and a fun character. I liked the fact that he and Eddie were in the book so much. Okay, I hope that was spoiler free. I'm sorry if it wasn't, but I am so keen to read The Golden Lilly and see what becomes of the characters and what they encounter!

I cannot wait for this book to come out on the 1st of May, 2012. There was so much going on at the end of Spells, and then all of a sudden the book finished. I also love the cover of this book, as it looks more mysterious and magical than any of the other books which suits the plot. May next year cannot come fast enough!

Waiting on Wednesday 8: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Juliette hasn't touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal. As long as she doesn't hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don't fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

I know some people have read ARC's of this book, but unfortunately I have to wait until November 15, although it will probably be longer than that because books always take longer to come out in Australia. I love the description of this book and I also love the cover! I cannot wait!

When Ally Carter decided to write a 5th Gallagher Girls novel, I was so excited, because the ending of the fourth book just left me with so many questions. The expected publication of out of Sight, Out of Time is March 20th, 2012! The plot sounds a little weird to me, but I will still read the book nonetheless. All-in-all, I cannot wait for this book to come out! I think I say that every time I do a WoW, but its true!

The Savage Grace is the last book in The Dark Divine trilogy by Bree Despain. The expected publication is March 13, 2012. I cannot wait for this book to come out, although I will have to reread the first two books before I read this one next year. The cover is gorgeous, and matches the other books, which is one thing I like a series to have (matching covers)! Anyway, I am so excited for this book to come out!

The ending left me with so many questions that I hope are answered in the second book. Basically, I cannot wait for this book to come out!

Waiting on Wednesday 4: City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare

City of Lost Souls, the Shadowhunters struggle to piece together their shattered world after a betrayal by one of their own leaves them reeling. (Goodreads)

I don't think I can wait until the 8th of May, 2012. This whole series is just so intriguing, and with the huge twist at the end of City of Fallen Angels, I am eager to find out what happens next. There are so many things that I need to know, and I also can't wait until the official cover is released in December!

Waiting on Wednesday 3: Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

I cannot wait for this book to come out! It is the second book in the Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare, who is one of my favourite authors. The cover is brilliant, and the story sounds excellent. There is so much that I want to know which wasn't explained in the first book. This book comes out on the 6th of December, 2011. I can't wait!

Touch of Power is the first book in Maria V. Snyder's new and upcoming series which will be released December 20th, 2011 in th US, and the beginning of 2012 in Australia. This new story about healers reminds me of her first series of books (Poison Study, Magic Study and Fire Study) and I can't wait to read it!

Waiting on Wednesday 1: Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

After falling in love, Lena and Alex flee their oppressive society where love is outlawed and everyone must receive "the cure"--an operation that makes them immune to the delirium of love--but Lena alone manages to find her way to a community of resistance fighters, and although she is bereft without the boy she loves, her struggles seem to be leading her toward a new love.

Pandemonium, the sequel to Lauren Oliver's best seller 'Delirium', is due to come out March 6th, 2012! After the first book leaving you hanging, I can't wait to see what happens in this book. There are so many questions that I have which need to be answered, such as; what happened/happens to Alex, and what is this new love that the description talks about? I think this is going to be one of the typical love triangles that seems to appear in a lot of the YA books these days.

By reading the description, I think fans of the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins will love this book, becasue the characters relationships are similar, and so is the story of rebellion. I can't wait!
